Breville BTA550 Ikon 4 Slice toaster is amazingly attractive and very practical addition to you kitchen.
Different breads cook at different times. So how do you get any type of bread to toast just the way you like it?
Normal toasters reset if you try to lift the toaster carriage.
Breville's 'Lift & Look' feature lets you lift the lever to check
the progress of the toast without interrupting the cycle. The LCD
display has a count down indicator to let you quickly see where your
toast is at in the cycle. The 4 slice long slot configuration also
allows for toasting large, artisan loaf slices.
Extra Long Slots:
Designed to fit two pieces of bread next to one another in a single,
longer slot. As well as being more compact, this design accommodates
more exotic loaf sizes like large sourdoughs or artisan breads.
Crumpet Setting:
Crumpets and bagels need higher heat on the top than on the bottom. On
Crumpet Setting the outside element switches to low heat to prevent
burning. Simply face crumpets inwards.
Self Centering
To ensure bread is evenly toasted on both sides, self centering slots
have spring loaded carriages to automatically centre the bread relative
to the toasting elements.
Self Progress Indicator:
A countdown indicator lets you quickly see where the toast is up to in
the selected cycle. Combined with Lift & Look it makes it easier to
check progress and get toast just the way you like it.
